5 Meetup Groups match “American Mah Jongg” near San Francisco, CA
Interested in playing American Mah Jongg and want to join a friendly game? This group is for you. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY I can remember my mother and her friends clicking the tiles while I was trying to sleeep, yep I have been playing a long time. I recently moved to CA and would like to meet others who are interested in playing American Mah Jongg, by the National Mah Jongg League Rules. All levels of players are welcome and I will be happy to run classes for the beginner.

This is a meet-up for women 45+ who would like to form a group to play American Mah Jong in Pacifica two times a month. This is not a "drop in once in awhile" group - it is a meetup for dedicated players who will play at least once and preferably two times a month and enjoy a sense of community within the group. The Bay Area Mahjong Meetup is looking for players and hosts in the San Francisco bay area. Mahjong is a 4-player tile game that plays somewhat like rummy and poker. Players of all skill levels are welcome! Currently all our meetups are in the east bay, but we'd like to expand to other parts of the bay and other styles.
